Some Motorola Smartphones are Ready for Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update, check out Yours !

After the official release of Android Marshmallo Motorola has announced the list of Moto devices that will be receiving the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update.
Motorola officially confirm that the Updates are to Roll out for Moto devices.

According to Motorola-

"The next generation of Android - Android 6.x Marshmallow - has been released to the Android Open Source Project (AOSP). We will be working with our technology and carrier partners to bring it to you."

Google's Nexus devices will naturally be the first to get Android Marshmallow Update in this case Motorola Nexus 5 will be first to get Android 6.0 Marshmallow. Motorola the Lenovo-owned company has not announced a release date for Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update but devices listed bellow will be receiving the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update very soon-

Moto G (Gen 2
Moto G (Gen 2) LTE
Moto X (Gen 2)
Moto G (3rd Gen)
Moto Maxx
Moto Turbo
Droid Turbo
Moto X Style
Moto X Play
Moto X Pure Edition
Motorola Nexus 5

Neither affordable Moto E,nor the first-generation Moto G and Moto X has been included in this list . These two smartphones, may be considered too old to update at this point, the Moto E (Gen 2) is only a few months old.

however Motorola said -

"Our current plans for Marshmallow upgrades include the following products. This will evolve over time, so check back for changes."

So we can say that Moto G(Gen 1) and Moto X(Gen 1) may be include in the list for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow Update.
